So glad you’re here. Although I practice "Abundant Hope" health coaching now, it definitely wasn't always this way for me.
After struggling with my weight and food addiction for years in my teens and 20s, my less than stellar habits finally caught up to me in 2019, right before I turned 50. During a time of extreme stress, self-doubt and hopelessness, I became physically ill with what I would later find out was autoimmune gastritis. Quite simply, my body was running on fumes, with no nutritional reserves left to draw upon. The choice was clear, it was time to do or die.
Throughout my journey, which involved testing and research, as well as some serious mindset shifts, I found the keys to achieving and maintaining my health. I came to understand that my thoughts and beliefs about myself, my place in the world and my habits dictated all of my decisions, and that I could gradually make the changes that would create the vibrant health I longed for. (That's the short version, anyway!)
